“Indeed, heroes do not belong to politics, unless we speak of those who are principled and ready to suffer for their convictions. Quite rare these days. There used to be some in seventies and eighties. The communist regimes in the former Eastern block called them dissidents. Walesa, Havel… some others. They had no time for Marxism… In Thailand everything seems upside down. Same, same but different… Well, freedom of thought should matter the most…, but does it here?”
